Windmills resort is located about 20 km from the city of Sofia, at the entrance to the village of Gorna Malina, in close proximity to the two main road arteries in the country, the “Hemus” highway – 15 km and the “Trakia” highway – 25 km.

Main road No. 6 Sofia-Burgas passes through the territory of the municipality with a detour through the “Vitinya” and “Arabakonak” passes to connect with the “Hemus” highway and Northern Bulgaria.
